Last Sunday, four Attenborough warriors, Duncan Adams, Paul Jago, Ray Kemish and Kev Milton travelled North to Sutton in Ashfield Sailing Club, situated on the King’s Mill reservoir, to do battle against the home team and Swarkestone sailors in the annual Northern Tripartite race series.
Three races in light winds seemed to suit Swarkestone’s Tim Hand who took a hat trick of wins in his Solo. Attenborough’s Paul Jago and Duncan Adams took overall second and third places respectively in a close fought series where 8 points separated overall winners Sutton from third place Attenborough.
