John has shown that you don’t need to be a racer to be an award winner 🙂
Unfortunately, John was unable to attend the ‘Fitting Out Supper’ and awards ceremony last month so we made the presentation to him yesterday on the Friday Evening.
John’s award is the ‘Flying Centreboard’.
He won this award for being the first person to capsize in 2021 (2nd April) and the last person to capsize in 2021 (31st December).
Well done John. Perhaps 2022 could be ‘Most Improved Sailor’?
