Great to have more than a dozen hardy members come down to ASC on Saturday morning, 7th January. Despite the forecast wet weather, we made a great start to this year’s work to improve the Club Compound.
Even our mid-session Tea/Coffee break was beautifully timed, as a heavy shower blew through. After which, the sun shone, accentuating the fluffy white clouds against a royal blue sky, enabling the Pontoon Platoon the opportunity to consider their next steps…
Work started on the ongoing improvements to:
– the Pontoons
– the external lighting to the compound
– the taming of the brambles throughout the compound and at the waters edge
– the Committee Boat, providing easier access for further works
– internal improvements within the Clubhouse
So, come on down to ASC any Saturday morning up to 4th March (inclusive) and make your contribution. This will ensure that we have a much improved overall experience at ASC this coming Season. It will also help encourage more of us, to get out on the water, more of the time, in 2023.
